Sheffeild United and Derby

£20,000 worth of damaged was caused in Derby City Centre as Sheffield United’s mob turned up in derby unannounced. The trouble happened when a Sheffield United mob of more than 150, stopped off in Derby on their way home from their teams 2-1 defeat at Coventry. Derby lads had, had word that Stoke City’s boys were going to turn up and were very surprised when Sheffield United’s BBC (Blades Business Crew) arrived in the city. Battles then followed between the South Yorkshire mob and a Derby firm of up to 100, as the trouble spread throughout the city.

At first the trouble was outside the Baroque bar(what used to be the Coliseum), on London Road, just after 6.30pm. about 50 of the Sheffield mob ambushed the place smashing windows and furniture, causing £15,000 worth of damage. Minutes later the rest of the Sheffield lads hit The Neptune, another boozer popular with Derby’s lads, here they caused £5,000 worth of damage. Around 100 Old Bill were called to separate the two mobs and managed to get on top of the situation until coaches came to the market place to take the Sheffield mob back up North. The Old Bill got some stick as many lads threw glasses, bottles, stones and other missiles at them. Three Sheffield lads were nicked for violent disorder and assault but got released on bail. At least one geezer had to go the DRI with minor injuries.

Watford and Luton Town

A Tuesday night league cup game between these two teams in early September 2002 always hinted at trouble occurring, with big rivalry with both teams firms. Before the game mobs of lads, both Watford and Luton marched around Watford town centre and there were scuffles at various train stations. With ten minutes to go until kick off lads from both firms mobbed up and hopped over advertisement hoardings to fight running battles on the pitch, one geezer ripped up a corner flag which proved to be quite a handy weapon. Old bill eventually got on top on top of the situation and got the lads back into the seats and blocked off the area behind the goal. The outcome of the evenings events was one lad requiring minor hospital treatment, two arrests and the kick off delayed by 15 minutes. Lack of police and stewards in the ground meant the lads of Bedfordshire had a good nights action.

Chelsea and Millwall

Chelsea met in the Hercules, lambeth north with one of the biggest mobs they have ever turned out 5-600(for once everyone stuck together) they were escorted to the ground from london bridge, everyone got in the game, towards the end of the match they made their way to the left hand corner. it kicked off with the O.B. who did well to keep them out of the Millwall end, it was'nt until the O.B. had pushed Wall back to the exit that Millwall tried to get back at Chelsea, but obviously knowing they could not. Came out of the ground escorted past a pub which inside had some Wall mouthing off, the windows were put through, then the O.B. jumped on that, Chelsea went back to Victoria,. The home game was crazy Chelsea met in the Ifield, Wall had a good mob they were escorted to the ground, you could'nt get near them there were so many O.B. They won on penalties with John Spencer missing for Chelsea as soon as he missed those in the north lower made their way towards Wall, got to the halfway line when about 15 horses beat them back, benches were trying to get to them and the the west stand were throwing those fuck off wooden seats and everything else at them. What no one could believe was that they were only letting Millwall out with Chelsea, everyone and anyone was rowing outside, Chelsea were having it outside the Brittania but it got to the stage when you did'nt know who was who it got silly, Chelsea had the best of that but Millwall were'nt all together, there were little mobs having there own rows all down the road. Got pushed down side streets on the kings road where it was also going mental, and if it was'nt for the tear gas the old bill used they would of completely lost control.

Sheffield wednesday and Sheffield United

The bbc have had the upper hand against the ocs in the Derby Days since the early 80's but the bbc were untouchable on January 29th 2002, ocs had a mob out of about 70 lads tops, while the bbc had 300 top lads looking for a ruck and there was at least another 700 lads willing to have a go if needs be. You can ask any united or wednesday supporters about the hatred between the two clubs and the both sets of supporters who hate each other with such passion, but chasing the ocs is getting a bit boring now and it was noticed on this particular game wednesday scarfers were being spat at and intimidated by frustrated bbc which is a bit out of order. The O.B. have most of the Derby Days under control these days, but it did manage to kick off with pockets of hooligans from both firms, but if it was'nt for O.B. there would be no ocs.
